Re: Getting Healthy Check-In
How has your progress been this week? Great! I've been going to the gym everyday. DH and I went hiking yesterday with our dogs! I have cut out soda completely, and I quit cold turkey (I used to drink up to 5/day)! I'm 3.5 weeks into my exercise and healthy eating, and I've lost 10.4 lbs so far! I'm also wearing shirts that I couldn't wear before!
What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)? Tracking calories with MFP, drink more water, exercise, and making healthier eating choices.
Best part of your week? Being able to fit into shirts that used to be too small!
Worst part of your week? I still haven't started my job yet. DH and I moved to a new city and state about 7 weeks ago. I need to get to work...like soon!
QOTW: If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be and why? Honestly...I would say to not let myself put on weight like I did during undergrad and grad school. The weight I need to lose is what I gained while in school. Exercise and healthy food choices are your friends!
Good job @GABride2010 , 10 lbs is a whole pant size!
Goals? Lose about 50 lbs.
How has your progress been this week? Could be better. I am such an emotional eater...ugh
What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)? Eat cleaner, move more, drink more water,
Best part of your week? cant think of anything
Worst part of your week? Finding out my friend is pregnant with her 2nd baby. Her first pregnancy, me and her were only few weeks apart, but I miscarried. This time, we just had a failed IUI... I cried a lot this week, and ate bad food.
QOTW: If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be and why? Stay healthy and active! Gaining 60 lbs should have never happened. Also, pick a difference major in school..
