  • 1.  How MM was your weekend?
Not bad at all - about $40 on gas to visit my hometown (again) since my grandpa flew in.  His flight was cancelled, but we still managed to get a few hours with him before driving home.  Then about $60 on groceries, and that was it for the weekend.

    2.  Any progress towards your goals?
Contemplating a kitchen remodel.  I know, I know... but we're looking at our options.  We'll see...

  • 1.  How MM was your weekend? Excellent!  We had a date night (dinner and ice cream) on Friday night.  We had a $25 gift card for dinner and $.50 left on a gift card for the ice cream.  I think the grand total was $35.  Saturday we did yard work and Sunday after church we met DH's parents for dinner (they paid) then did a quick Home Depot run that was about $35.

I'm going to do our grocery shopping tomorrow but that isn't over the weekend so it doesn't count.  lol

    2.  Any progress towards your goals?  Plugging along.  This week I'm chaffing at the tightened budget and after 4 weeks of not working I'm bored and getting lazy.

    3. Top 3 Desert Island Movies or Books (3 movies/books you'd take with you to a desert island - assuming this island has a solar powered dvd player and screen).  Captain America: The First Avenger, Anne of Green Gables, and Harry Potter (all of them count as one movie, right?)

  • 1.  How MM was your weekend? $88 at Lowe's for my container garden supplies.  This included the containers themselves, soil, tools, and the plants.  Since we sold our house and I no longer have a yard, I'm nervous to plant in containers, but I'm hopeful.  I planted tomatoes, zucchini, cauliflower, and red onions.  I've got my fingers crossed.  $35 on a tank of gas and $175 on groceries and household goods.

    2.  Any progress towards your goals? $250 to our move money account, $100 to my student loan,  $30 to general savings.  Our progress each week is small, but we're consistent.  We're chipping away at our goals week by week.

    3. Top 3 Desert Island Movies or Books? Do I get to pick three of each??
Books: The Outsiders (been my favorite since 5th or 6th grade), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, anything by Emily Giffin.
Movies: The Wizard of Oz and any two animated Disney movies of your choice.  Yes, I'm a child.  Don't judge me.

  • 1.  How MM was your weekend?  Not too bad, stayed within budget.  Spent $290 on 2 pairs of sandals for me, one is for hiking and exercising the other is my Birkenstocks, sandals for my son.  Hair cuts for all except the youngest total $40 including tips, lunch $36 before hair cuts.  Groceries using cash, $30 in gas, $50 for golf outing in June through work.

    2.  Any progress towards your goals?  Not this weekend.  Need to make my credit card payment, total of $185.

    3.
