What is your favorite flower? Does DH ever get them for you?

Hydrangeas, gerbera daisies are my absolute favorites. But really, I just love flowers. DH does buy me flowers sporadically. We're also working on making a kick ass garden this year.

I love flowers!  My favorites are roses, garden roses, and peonies.  But I also love these little blue flowers that grow in my grandmas yard, they're called Stars of Bethlehem.  They cover the ground like a blue coat of dust in the spring, it's so pretty.  Here's a pic of her yard as they started to bloom this year.

My favorites are calla lilies, hydrangeas, and orchids.  H will buy me flowers for valentines day occasionally, but not just because.  I love flowers, but it's a waste of money since they die so fast.  I'd rather him save the money and buy me jewelry, which he does.

Daisies, but H always gets me roses. I don't want to complain, or him take it the wrong way so in never say anything.

I'd say something. I'm sure he'd rather buy you what you love! Plus, you could get like 4 times as many flowers if he switches to daisies!

Lilies are my favorites. But, H did a good job guessing and decided to surprise me with an orchid for valentine's day that is somehow still alive.

I know, but he gets so excited he got me roses.  I don't even know how to bring it up, 5 years later.  The first flowers he got me was a basket of mixed flowers, almost like wild flowers and they were beautiful.

Just tell him that! Tell him it came up here today and you wanted to let him know. Just say, you love everything he's got you but you love daises even more.

We do talk about the questions of the day here.  I'll bring it up, maybe not tonight since he's freaking out with biomom, but soon.

I love lilies and peonies. H usually gets flowers for me on anniversaries and birthday, but not randomly.

I love calla lilies, daffodils , and yellow roses. H doesn't often get me any of those but will get me a bouquet of mixed purple flowers since he knows that's my favorite color.

Peonies are my absolute favorite, it stinks that they have such a short growing season! I also love the big fluffy garden roses and hydrangeas (they remind me of Cape Cod where H proposed).

For our anniversary last year, H brought home this bouquet. He thought they were garden roses...I knew right away they were carnations. He was so proud of himself that I didn't want to burst his bubble. After a few days, he said "those aren't garden roses are they". I said no, but it's the thought that counts
