Anniversaries

So I know there are a lot of ladies still here that got married when I was planning or got married around the same time. So I think there are some of us who recently hit or will soon...10 year anniversary!

Just curious what did or will you do? Gift?

Ours is a little over a month away!! Dh has been wanting to go to NYC since he's never been. So I planned a weekend trip for next month. With the kid so not romantic but hopefully fun. Going to Broadway show and the Mets. Basically my anniversary gift to him.

I'm also working on turning our old emails into a book. We were long distance when we started dating and emailed a lot! It was only 6 months but probably like 600 emails, ha!

For me, I'd love something sparkly! Ha! Trying to think of a way to hint that!!

Trying to think if I can come up with anything else for dh.

Ours was a few years back & we did a trip to Arizona a few months after our anniversary.  Now I'm planning 40th birthday trips!!

Ours was two years ago, we bought a house! Oh and I got a boston terrier puppy. My parents also treated us to dinner at Capital Grille.

Ours was this past October. We didn't/don't do gifts, but we did splurge on dinner out at a very nice restaurant

Our 10th was this past August. We planned a family cruise to Alaska to celebrate it.

We did two cocktail tasting classes and a dinner out on the ship at one of the signature restaurants to get some couple time while on the trip with the kids.

Ours is next year and we're talking about an adults only trip to Disneyland. originally we wanted to do Europe or something, but I don't want to bring the kids or leave them for that long, so this was our decision.

ours will be Sept 2016..... I would love a trip back to Turks and Caicos. We shall see.

Ours is next year.  We always do Monterey Bay for our anniversary, so we'll stick to that tradition, but we also plan to do a trip since it's 10 years. Not sure where, but it will include a beach.  I would also like something sparkly.

Ours is next year, too!  I'm not sure what we will do, we've talked about a trip somewhere (a long weekend at the very least) but haven't figured out any details yet.

This just made me realize that ours is next year as well!  Budget permitting, I'm planning a trip to Disney again next year, but that's not for our anniversary.  We said on our honeymoon that we'd want to go back to Antigua for our 10 year, but I don't think either of us is thinking that we'd still want to do that.

So, basically I have no idea.

I love that idea of the old emails turned into a book.  (stealing that- thank you!)  DH promised me to have a matching wedding band made to wear on top of my wedding ring.  I would love to renew our vows somewhere tropical but I doubt that will happen.  I have two years to figure it out.

Ours was 2 years ago, we went to the Poconos for the weekend.  We stayed in a super cheesy resort out there and had a really fun time.

Ours was two years ago as well. The years leading up to it were not celebrated very well, so going out to dinner with friends was the most we had done since DD was born. We also got ice cream and played mini-golf. :-)

This year, #12, we're taking a family trip to NYC.

Try memeoirs.com. It only supports certain email but has some instructions for importing. I had hoped it would work for me but I had major issues and have to just copy and paste and am doing a blurb book. But if you can do it memeoirs appears to be pretty cool!
