It's a Baby boom up in here...
Vincent Dean arrived via c-section at 12:22 on Sunday, May 3. He weighs 5 lbs 11 oz and is 19 3/4 inches long.
I started having contractions last night about 10 pm...and they were about 5 minutes apart by 7 am. When we got to the hospital, I was only 1 cm. they had me walk a bit then re-checked me. Since I made change in that hour, I was admitted.
During the second check is when we discovered turd bird was really breech! Because I was in active labor, our plan turned to a C Section as soon as everything was set up. My blood pressure was also still high and I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia. Even without his beech status, we'd have been delivering.
I'm on magnesium sulfate for 24 hours, but am feeling great postpartum. He's not latching great, but we were able to syringe feed him some donor milk. The LCs are coming around in the morning.
And here he is! So in love...but can't decide who he looks like!

Drugs are amazing, so my pain is very minimal. I sentJim home to get a good nights quality sleep and Vince is in the nursery tonight except for when we are trying to feed, so that I can get some rest.
