Possibly relocating to Houston area

We are possibly relocating to the area from Denver and will be checking out Houston next week for the first time.  We have 2 young kids and will want a family friendly area.  Can you all help with places we should be checking out and neighborhoods that you all recommend?

Re: Possibly relocating to Houston area

  • Is there another board that I can post this on where I may get more response?
  • Don't know if you will see this as it was over a month ago you posted but Katy the woodlands and cypress are good areas... We moved to cypress almost a year ago from California... And it is very family friendly the schools are good and it's a low crime area.. The traffic in houston is horrible so where you/your husband works needs to be taken into account... Where in Denver are you moving from? We used to live in Thornton lol

  • Agree with Mrs Schrager, it depends on where you'll be working.  We live in the Clear Lake area and love it.  But most of Houston between us and Katy/Woodlands/Sugar Land is not great.
