I posted a while ago for some NYC
Recs but now our trip is almost here so asking again.

So far this are our plans
Saturday: getting there around lunchtime
Have tickets for Aladdin 8pm

Sunday: brunch reservations at American girl store and will shop some
Tickets to Mets game at 2

Monday: would like to do breakfast maybe Clinton at baking company
Maybe statue of liberty and 9/11 memorial this day and then leaving

And restaurant recs or things we should do? Would like to hit FAO Shwarz for dd at some point. And Eataly for me.

I'm trying to figure out statue of liberty and 9/11. I think we just want to ferry around SL. For 9/11 I don't think I want to necessarily do museum just memorial.

I'm stressed thinking of all the stuff to try to squeeze in.

We did 9/11 memorial & museum when we went in March.  You have to go online to get tickets for museum & you can do self guided tour.  Figure 3 hours - we were told 2 and that was not enough.  To see the memorial you can just walk around.  From there you can catch statute of liberty.  We went to east side & walked around had a really awesome brunch at Schillers http://www.yelp.com/biz/schillers-liquor-bar-new-york - really really good food.   You can always do Top of the Rock or something like that on Saturday.  Its a fun tour.

We did the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty. We also opted to go to the 9/11 memorial, but not the museum. We had tickets for the double decker bus and I think the stops for Staten Island Ferry/9/11 Memorial weren't far off - so we did them around the same time.

I love Pomme Frites for a quick lunch (belgian fries with a variety of dipping sauces). Max Brenner's Chocolate by the Bald Man was fantastic for a sweet treat. FAO Schwartz is a lot of fun!

Gwen, pomme frites is no more!!! Remember when the gas line blew a few months ago? Sadly it took pomme frites with it. They better rebuild!

Lisa is a good one to weigh in on this question too. I'd page her if she doesn't.

Oh no! You guys recommended Pomme frites the last time so I was going to try to check it out if we had time! Thanks for letting me know!

OMG!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always told Sean we had to go back to NYC some day just for Pommes Frites. Sob. I agree- get to rebuilding, PF!!!

Ditto Max Brenner's....so good!!  If you're in Times Square, I'm sure your DD would love to walk through the giant TRU & take a ride on the Ferris Wheel.  If she's into Legos, there is a Lego store in Rockefeller Center.

I'm going to gain 20lbs! I had looked at max brenners before but Was thinking of serendipity but may have to go to Max Brenner! Also really want to go to Donut Plant! Maybe it's good that Pomme frites isn't there so I don't gain too much weight!!!
