Long weekend plans

What's going on for you this holiday weekend? I keep forgetting it is a long weekend, and then get happy when I remember.

Tonight - dinner out, DVR and crochet once kids are in bed

Saturday - T has baseball and a birthday party. We have date night plans with friends, and I realized yesterday that I forgot to get a babysitter - oops! Scrambling to find one today.

Sunday - I have a massage and H has a play date. Grocery, to, of course. There will also be lots of laundry. Catching up after 10 days without a machine. And I still need to clean the winter/outgrown clothes from H's drawers.

Monday - No plans. Maybe Science Center or just time at the park. Or maybe more spring cleaning.

Re: Long weekend plans

  • So excited for the long weekend!!

Tonight: Jake has a baseball game, DVR catch up after the kids are in bed

Saturday: some errands in the morning, Brian plans to continue to work on the treehouse all afternoon, so the kids and I will play outside while he's doing that.  Our besties are coming into town and we're meeting up with them for a GROWN-UPS ONLY dinner (can you tell I'm excited??) in the evening while my mom babysits the boys.

Sunday: Kennywood!  it will be our first time taking the boys, I'm so excited!

Monday: no plans during the day, so probably more treehouse work, then heading to a friend's house late afternoon for a picnic.

    Have a great weekend, ladies!!

  • Dd's bday is Memorial Day!!! Eek! Can't believe my kid is turning 7!

So we have MIL, FIL and BILs staying at our place right now. Tonight we will probably go out to dinner. Not sure the plans for the rest of the weekend yet. We are having dd's family bday party Sunday I think. Was going to be Monday but looks like Sunday may be better weather. We need to grocery shop for stuff to grill. The night before I will be making dd's cake. And I know the night before her bday I will be assembling a big dollhouse for her American girl dolls. I hope that goes well!!

All plans are subject to change as my sister's due date is today! Yah for new babies!

Tonight: dinner somewhere. Run to Costco to return a speaker that we found on ebay for 1/4 of the price. Maybe Ikea to look at some things to organize our closets.

Saturday: I need to run to Ross Park and return a pair of shoes. Yard work.

Sunday: Take the dogs on a hike through the woods now that we have treated them for ticks.

Monday: head to my parents for a picnic.

  • Yay for a long weekend!

Tonight - no plans, maybe order take-out and get my laundry done so I dont' have to worry about it the rest of the weekend!

Tomorrow- getting my hair done, Hayden has social skills and the boys might spend the night at my parents house. If they do, Gary & I will probably go to a movie or out to eat.

Sunday - going to my parents house in the afternoon to get the boys. We'll probably stay for dinner.

Monday - hopefully doing something outdoors as a family!

We're spending the weekend at the lake with my parents.

Steve and my dad will continue working on the dining room/bathroom remodel.

We're getting a few more fishing poles, and will take the boys out fishing since it'll be too cold for swimming, except when Steve and I decide to put on a wet suit to surf. I can't wait until the water fully warms up in a few weeks.

I'll be doing lots of cleaning as well, to clear out all the dust from drywall sanding.

  • Friday was DVR catch up and take out.

Saturday we did yard work and took the boys to Wildwood Highlands.  We grilled out on our patio for dinner.

Sunday we went to North Park, then to our neighbors for swimming and a cook out.

Monday we went to my parents for swimming and a cook out.

Today I am detoxing from cook out food and adult beverages, lol!
