Re: QOTD 5/29

  • Not anymore.  I was taking prenatals when we decided to NTNP but after a few months I got discouraged and stopped.  For a while I also took B12 and Q10 vitamins to help reduce the frequency of my migraines...maybe I should start that again!

  • Yup. I take a prenatal vitamin every night. They bother my stomach if I take them in the morning.

  • I had to stop taking them 2 weeks before my surgery and I haven't re-started. I usually take a prenatal, fish oil high in EPA, and once a week a Vitamin D pill.

  • I need to start taking prenatals soon but right now I don't take any.  Honestly Flintstone vitamins are my jam and I wish that they had prenatal versions of them (maybe that should have been my confession post...)

  • Just prenatals since I stopped my BC

  • I take a prenatal vitamin (even though we're not TTC, it's recommended that if you are planning to TTC in the next 2 years that you start them). I also take Omegas 3, 6. 9 and a calcium gummy twice a day.

  • @ramstein1027:  I HATED Flinstones vitamins as a kid and used to spit them out when my mom was looking and hide them.  She still teases me about it today.

  • When I remember I take prenatal, calcium and fish oil. I've been really awful at remembering lately.

This happened to me after J was born too. I set an alarm on my phone for 8:00 pm, right after J goes to sleep, to remind me to take them.

    Maybe try something like that?

  • I go in cycles with taking vitamins.  I'm on the "not taking them" cycle right now.  I was taking Vitafusion chewy prenatals which were pretty yummy.

  • Prenatal, Vitamin C, Iron every day. I make DH take vitamins as well. Even if I wasn't on prenatals, I'd take a multivitamin every day.

I do.  I take a multivitamin cut in half.  I take half in the morning and half at dinner.  I also take fish oil and biotin every day.
  • I take Similac prenatals. I don't remember them every night, but I try to.

@ramstein1027 I wanted to start taking the Flintstone vitamins after I had Wren because they're a lot cheaper than prenatals, but I discovered that they have aspartame in them. That made me sad.
