Re: Mommy & Mommy 2B Monday
When is your EDD? 6/9... THIS month!
How are you feeling? Good, overall
What are you craving? Nothing much lately
What is grossing you out? Nothing
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We completed our Amazon registry on Friday. Got the diaper bag in the mail on Saturday, and we're still waiting on a couple other things.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? 39 week appointment tomorrow morning.
Have you / will you found out the sex? soon!
Any names picked out? yep
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? I really need to spend some time in there this week. I'm still working on finding a place to live after we move, so hopefully I'll make some good progress on that today and be able to work on the nursery in the next couple days.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Baby still doesn't seem interested in engaging. I'm really hoping this happens soon, I feel like I'm way behind the curve here.

Best part of your week?
Seeing her personality come out even more. She's such a sassy but happy little thing.
Worst part of your week?
Still having a hard time transitioning back to work. I love my job and love what I do and enjoy working, but I'm finding it harder than I thought to leave her every morning. The nights also are nowhere near long enough, and are stressful trying to get everything done while just wanting to sit down and be with her. I know all of this is just part of this working mom thing.
However, my boss has continued to keep it open for me to take 1 day/week off and continue to receive all of my benefits. I'm going to give it another month to see if things get better, but if not I'm going to sit down and have a serious discussion with him about taking 1 day off throughout the week.
Milestones?
We let her fuss it out in her crib for naps this weekend, and the sitter is going to continue it today. No more napping in her swing.

2nd picture is her newest facial expression. A snarl, also equipped with the snarl noise.

Best part of week: She is really loving Daddy time now. DH takes her when she gets home and they just cuddle and giggle together.
Worst part of week: Nothing really to complain about!
Milestones: I am trying to spend more time in her nursery so that she gets used to her crib and pack n play.
PIp:
Giggling after just waking up from her nap

...hello out there!
dx with anovulatory PCOS 2005
off bcp 11/11
a few rounds of clomid and femara... no response.
injectables/IUI 12/12... BFN
Feb 13 IVF cycle converted down to IUI due to low follicle response... BFFN
one last IVF attempt April/May 2013: 19 retrieved. 10 fertilized. 2 transferred in a 3dt. 4 frosties... BFP!!
EDD: 1/21/14... Induced early at 36+6. Our LO was born 12/30/13
How many weeks are you? 13w +0...still a *we think* on that one
When is your EDD? December 7th *we think*
How are you feeling? ok, the rainy weather is not helping with my energy level. Yesterday was basically a couch day, I think I did too much on Saturday, I was in rehearsal for 6 hours then cam home and did 2-3 hours of gardening, felt great, but I was TIRED yesterday
What are you craving? not really anything
What is grossing you out? most meat, I've had terrible heartburn/indegestion the last 4-5 times I've had meat, chicken and seafood seem to be better, but anything else makes me feel terrible.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? nope
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? appointment on Wednesday afternoon, we should have results from our dating scan then, so hopefully we can feel more confident about due-dates and how far along I am.
Have you / will you found out the sex? we will find out
Any names picked out? running lists, I don't think we'll start to really talk about this until we know the sex
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? I'm so ready to start on all our home renovation stuff, waiting for a few more things from contractors and then fingers crossed the bank moves quickly.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? I've got nothing.
Milestones? Just turning one month old on Wednesday. He slept in his crib for the first time last night. But only for one 2 hour stretch...and then I brought him back to the bassinet in our room, because I was stressing myself out staring at the monitor. One step at a time.
Jim also headed back to work for the first time today...so night wake ups are all me. I'm worried about our new normal, and feeling like he gets to do whatever he wants, while I only get to take care of baby.
Baby Boy born 5.3.15
LOs ages: 3 weeks!
Best part of your week? Snuggling with my babies and watching their personalities develop.
Worst part of your week? This shit is hard work. Mr is back to work, so all night feelings are on me. The days completely disappear and I get about 2 things done I need to. The boys are on the same schedule, which is awesome, except they both want to eat at the EXACT SAME TIME. Newborns don't understand patience.
Milestones? Cameron rolled from front to back yesterday. I think it was a fluke, but I was proud!! Grayson continues to get better with his neck flexibility (mild toritcollis).
LOs Age(s): 10 weeks
Best part of your week? LO met DHs side of the family finally. He's also been going down drowsy for naps and we've been pretty successful, albeit in his swing.
Worst part of your week? My company is most likely going under. I'm not sure if we can make it with me on unemployment. I'm trying not to stress about it too much, but money always stresses me out.
Milestones? Sleeping 6-8 hours consistently through the night. Also, we're down to 1 formula bottle (just the mttn feed) because I can finally pump enough to keep up with him. I actually put some milk in the freezer this week too. Woohoo!
PIP those kiddos!
Best: He's just been a lot of fun and learning more every day.
Worst: He likes to make this high pitched squeal when he's frustrated or not getting what he wants. Yeah, that's a lot of fun.
Milestones: He got another tooth! That's #5! He's also walking longer spurts. He can make it across the room without help!
Here's a shot from yesterday.

LOs Age(s): 1 month! Where does the time go???
Best part of your week? Snuggling with my little boy.
Worst part of your week? He was diagnosed with reflux and still struggles with eating. I've been in tears since there are days when he does better, and days that are terrible when it comes to eating. Also DH and I got into a huge fight about his parents coming into town in a few weeks, and comments that they have said.
Milestones? Finally finished a bottle this morning, and waking up before his feeds! Also turning a month old and holding his pacifier!

Post partum hormones suck, so hang in there! I was the mama that stayed awake staring at the monitor. You aren't alone.
The "new normal" is a hard adjustment. Don't be too hard on yourself. Remind me, are you going back to work in the fall?

I'm glad it's going better than you expected.
I think it's important that you've realized that some times you need to hand him off and get some alone time. It took me forever to realize this and I still struggle with it, honestly.
Sometimes you just need space for a minute for you. Glad you're able to ask for it and take it.
