Party food- inexpensive sliders/sandwiches

Getting ready for 2 year old's birthday party! I'd like to do sandwiches of some type.  anyone know who has the best prices? Giant eagle and kuhns have little baby sliders for about $1 each. probably can't get much cheaper than that...

Unless you make them yourself, I don't think you will get much cheaper than that. Lunch meat is expensive.

These are make yourself, but you make them the night before and just bake them.  They're so easy and good.

wowza that looks delicious!  i might have to give this a test run!!! might do swiss on 1/2 and chedder on 1/2 as my kiddo might not even attempt it if the cheese isn't the right color!!! thanks!

I've done it with swiss, cheddar and American.  All are equally delicious.

I've made them too with Swiss and american. I'm not a huge fan of Swiss myself. They are yummy!

I also like making the grape jelly meatballs as sliders for parties Frozen meatballs, chili sauce and grape jelly in the crock pot (depending on your recipe - you might combine the sauce in a pan on the stove first). Serve on hawaiian sweet rolls (I get these in big packs at sam's club for cheap).  Easy, delicious and very reasonable!

the meatballs are a great idea too. we usually do meatballs with pasta sauce in a crock pot but i wanted to do something a little different this year.

i tried the recipe for the ham sandwiches last night. it was easy and delicious! i think we are going to have like 30 guests so i'm thinking about 2 sandwiches each so i need to make ~60 of them.... 

but i think its do-able. not sure if it is cheaper than giant eag or kuhns but i'm sure they taste better!
