Had a reason to do one of these, so I figured I'd post it and start a post.

MIL,

I may be ready for children, but I don't think that there's any way you are ready for grandchildren. You are so very far from understanding how your own children have grown up, and can fend for themselves. They don't need your help. And if someone doesn't care to be sitting in the back row, and you care, maybe you are the one having the problem. Being a grandparent means taking a step back. It means not having things done your way. It means watching your children making their own mistakes and learning from them. Your parents didn't interfere with your parenting, and at this point, I'm not sure you are ready to do the same. It's times like these that I do consider putting off children because I don't think you will be able to reasonably stay out of our business. Plus, don't even get me started on how you care so much about the comfort of your children that are here, yet you blackmail your other child that you didn't invite to take off his job to watch your house so you don't have to pay to kennel your dogs.

Also, not everyone enjoys the beach the same way you do, so stop thinking your vacation experience has to be the same as everyone else's.

Dear Principal at XXX School District, Please give me a fair chance tomorrow during my interview. I have a lot to offer and would be an excellent teacher. Please don't just go with a candidate you've already had in mind. I really want this position! Thanks, A Very Qualified Candiate

  • Dear work-
please stop stressing me out.  I have a lot of anxiety about this and I can't let it go.
  • Dear stomach,

Please stop hurting. I think ate ate something bad, but not sure what. I have been sick enough this year. This is an order to get better by the time I wake up tomorrow.
