Getting ready to replace windows in our 1950s ranch home. Our main window is the north facing picture window, which has two casements flanking each side. (See pic) We like the openness of the picture window, so will keep the same design only with new impact windows. Dimensions of the picture window is 50" wide by 62" tall. Side casements will be 36" wide by 62" tall. The windows will be milled as a single unit. I'm stuck on grid pattern for the side casements. See the choices in the picture below. Main considerations are keeping the individual panes somewhat similar in shape and size to each other. Our front door installed a few years back is a wood door with 6 lights (each light is approximately 15"tall by 11 wide). The other two windows in the front of the house are two bedroom windows (both 52 w by 50 tall). They will be both xx casements so the options with grids are (for each of the two windows in the unit) 6 panes or 8 panes. The six pane option per window would make each pane approx. 14.7 L x 10.8 W, while the 8 pane would be 10.75 L x 10.8 W.

Would love your feedback on design….
