A Discovery of Witches (again) (Maybe spoilerish)
I'm still not done, but I need to talk about it again. I'm about half through.
WHY does Diana have to be so Bella Swan?
She's all "OMG, his SKIN is so COLD and PALE and BEAUTIFUL, and he's so PERFECT, and why does he want to be around frumpy old ME, and why is he taking CARE of me? I don't even have clean CLOTHES, and I just want to go RUNNING and do YOGA and I don't even want to be a witch . . ." And on, and on, and on.
Did anyone else get a Twilight vibe from this book? But obviously smarter and with better writing. I'm still really enjoying the book, but man, does she remind me of Bells sometimes.
