drawer pulls & back splash

Although we don't plan to move for a while, how crazy can I go with these things.  I'm thinking a backsplash with a vine or leaves pattern, & twigs & leaves for the drawer pulls to bring outside into a casual rustic kitchen.

I think I can make them my offbeat taste because it's not that hard to redo if the buyer hates them

Re: drawer pulls & back splash

  • I say go for it! It's your house - enjoy it :)! Even with plain or "safer" choices not all buyers are going to like it.
  • I would not do such a specific backsplash, that would turn off a lot of buyers.  The knobs aren't a big deal because if/when you sell that is easily changed by the new owners, or you could change them before you sell and take them with you to your new house.

  • Anything that can be changed easily should be fine! You might want to consider removing the backsplash before selling. But as sunshineSL32 says: you will have that issue no matter what you do... Make the place YOUR place and your home. You're the one living there now ;)
