NBC Monthly Read

With the board being pretty slow overall, we thought it might be more interesting to expand our monthly PNR/UF group to include more genres, in hopes that more people will participate. We were thinking about doing something like the following, with having a vote prior to each month to decide. If you have favorites or TBRs in these genres, please share and I'll add them to the potential reads lists! We have typically discussed the last Tuesday of the month. We thought this might be a good starting point and can adapt!

September: Urban Fantasy

October: Horror

November: Young Adult/New Adult

December: Paranormal Romance

January: Fantasy

February: Romance

Based on our small group of previous votes, the September UF pick will be Nightfall by Ellen Connor. It is first in a trilogy and all three books have been published.

I don't have many good suggestions, but I would love to do a monthly read. 

I always try to read a Stephen King book in October!

I've read Revival, and it was great.  But the other two are on my TBR.  The Gunslinger is the start of a series, so maybe it's not a good choice for a monthly read.  Plus I think a lot of folks here have already read it.

I'd be up for any of those Stephen King books. 14 by Peter Clines was also awesome. I listened to the audiobook recently.
