Losing weight before liposuction surgery !

I'm considering a liposuction surgery very soon in a Toronto-based cosmetic surgery clinic. I weigh approximately154 lbs now. Should I maintain my current weight or try to lose a few pounds prior to the surgery? Has anyone undergone this procedure ever? If yes, what was your weight at the time of the surgery? Any replies in this concern will be highly appreciated.
