How's Your Yearly Reading Challenge Going?

Goodreads puts me at 5 books behind on my goal of 125. That's where I've been most of the year. I'm going to have to find some shorter or fluff books to read in the coming months to catch up!

How is everyone else doing on their goal?

Oh man. I am seven books behind 75. I've been in a funk recently. Lots of personal things AND my promotion (with added responsibilities) keep me super busy lately. I seriously need some down time.

I'm at 69/100.  I was a couple books behind until last month when I had a stellar reading month.  I'm 3 books ahead now.

I didn't set an actual challenge this year, but I always hope to read more than I did the year before.  Last year I read 44 books, and right now I'm at 42 for this year, so I guess I'm doing great!

The most I've ever read in a year (since I started keeping track) is 67.  Maybe I'll even get back up close to that this year!  Getting a Kindle has made a HUGE difference in the amount that I read.

I am 11 ahead for the year. 78/100. The most I have ever read before is 84, I have been striving for 100 since 2009 and will finally hit my number this year!!

I'm at 66/80.  According to goodreads, that is 13 books ahead of schedule.  I'm really hoping that I can read 90 books this year; that would be the most I've read in a year since I had J.

It's not going to good, I'm behind.  We have been so busy lately that I haven't had enough time to read.  I'm only at 49 out of my 100 goal, 17 behind schedule.  I even changed my goal from 115 to 100 for the year.  I need to get reading!!

GR has me at 6 behind out of my 60 goal.  

I have been so swamped lately that I haven't had any time to read!  I don't see this improving since i start my new job next week.  No more reading at work. Boo!

I am at 64/90 (4 books ahead), but the last two months have been sucky reading months for me.  I had a lot of crap to deal with so my reading has gone way down hill.

I didn't set any goals for myself this year. I am trying to read at least 30 books by the end of the year though. Between work, tween mom-ing, and personal turmoil I've been letting my reading slip.

Pretty crappy. I am 4 books behind. Reading A Song of Fire & Ice has jammed me up and I am not even finished with them yet. I took a break to read some lighter stuff, which helped. I was 8 books behind. I am trying not to stress over it. I want reading to be fun and not about a deadline, or so I tell myself.

Considering I haven't found time to cook dinner or clean my tiny apartment in months, it's sadly not a huge surprise.

I set a minimum goal for myself of 52, one a week. I've got 49 so far, so I'll meet the goal. I'm just trying for quality and enjoyment over quantity this year. I'll probably end up around 65-70 I think. Mostly, I'd like to narrow down on the books I own. Still waaay too many unread books on my shelves.
