GOP Debate Tonight 9/16 8pm ET

I'm looking forward to it!!! Any thoughts or predictions?

I think everybody has Trump in their targets tonight. I'm looking forward to watching Fiorina (I didn't see her in the Cocktail Hour debate in August). I also think the liberal CNN media bias is gonna pop out tonight, well, I'd be surprised if it didn't.

Re: GOP Debate Tonight 9/16 8pm ET

  • Trump has lately been the favorite candidate for the other candidates to attack.  Not that I am complaining!  If anything, I wouldn't be surprised if Trump actually loves that kind of attention.  It gives him the perfect place to deliver back the snarky, discord comments he seems to thrive on.

I'm glad they gave in and invited Fiorina also.  It's not often someone is such a break-away hit in a debate...especially considering it was the "opening act" to the main event.

CNN has made it known they are looking to create drama and pit candidates against each other, which historically, has been difficult to accomplish Republicans who tend to go for the Dems before they'll go after each other, but I think tonight will be different because of the shit storm Trump has stirred up.

Have you guys seen the Fiorina "face" video?  Regardless of whether you agree with her positions or not, you have to appreciate the brilliant marketing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODfUOnw2x0g

I just watched it. Then I posted it on Trump's FB page.

  • BAHAHA!!!  That's awesome!  Good for you!

I'm watching the early debate and I'm already annoyed with CNN.  They are on the 6th question about Donald Trump.  Nobody really wants to get into it and they keep saying the same thing "can we actually talk about policies?", but these moderators are so consumed with getting good TV, but they aren't being good journalists.
  • If you like that and have some extra time, her speech where these clips came from are really great.  She says what I've always thought:  What are "women's issues"?  Aren't ALL issues women's issues?

Bolded. I agree. I hate the distinction of women's issues versus everybody else's issues????

Women make up like 49 or 50% of the population. Why do we even have that distinction of women's issues?
