How is it going with your NY resolution?

For those that made New Year's resolutions, how are you doing?

My resolution was to read more books and I just finished book #8 for the year (Girl in the Spider's Web, liked it) so I am happy with my performance.  New TV has started so it may be harder to keep up with, but I am going to make time for it.

  • Pretty crappy I'm pretty sure I have gained weight instead of loosing it and the boys are still not potty trained.

  • I also gained weight the first part of the year, but I recently switched to a mostly paleo diet, and the weight has started to come off.  if I can stick with it, by the end of the year I will have hopefully  made some good progress.

  • I made a ton of resolutions and they're going pretty well. For our marriage we wanted to do 1 outside date night and 1 at home date night a month. Outside has been fine, but we've been slacking at home date nights.

For the family we wanted to do 1 one on one date with each kid once a month and do 1 family activity a month. That has been going well so far!

Financially we wanted to save all year for Christmas (done) and pay off 2 credit cards (done and working on the 3rd!)

For our home we wanted to organize and purge more. Mainly the baby stuff, which we have slowly but surely been getting rid of.

I have totally failed my health goals to get stronger (losing weight would be nice, but after all the health crap I went through last year I need to regain functional strength), put the phone down by 10:30, be in bed no later than 11, and eat veggies daily. Fail, fail, fail.

Potty training made me want to jump off a bridge.  Hugs.
