Halloween costumes?

I've been stumped this year.

If I had more time, I'd love to be a Weeping Angel from Doctor Who.

If I was made of money, I wanted to be Left Shark.

Since I don't have time or money, I think I'm going to be a female Vulcan. I already have a Star Trek pin, a wig, and a dress and boots that would work, so I just need to buy some ears.

I'm going to be Agent Peggy Carter from the Captain America movies and Agent Carter tv show.

DS is going to be a Stormtrooper, so I was thinking about Princess Leia.

DD is going to be a Rockford Peach from A League of their Own.

DH and are going as Jack and Coke (he'll wear a Jack Daniels shirt and I'll wear a Coke shirt).

I don't usually dress up, but this year we are coming up to my work. 

DD is going to be Mal from the Descendants so maybe I can be Malificent.

I haven't even thought about dressing up myself.  My kids are going to be a mermaid and a lobster.  Maybe I can wear my hip waders and raincoat and call myself a fisherman.

Kids are going to be a magician, Super girl, and an alien.  I tried with the theme, I really did.  But they had to have their own personalities and ideas and shit.  

I found an elephant hoodie onesie on Amazon for me.

I was thinking about being a mermaid because my hair is currently blue and very very long and I'm too lazy for wigs but I don't know how to handle the fins part. All the costumes online look like they'd be really difficult to walk in so I'm thinking maybe just a green skirt embellished. We'll see.

You would make an excellent Karou from Daughter of Smoke & Bone. Just draw some hamsas on your hands and tada. Of course, finding a necklace made of teeth might be hard. Maybe a wishbone instead.

This is totally going to be my excuse for dying my hair blue.  Has anyone tried a good wash-out one that isn't chalk?
