Help with clothing sizing
Hi Ladies, I'm hoping some of you are knowledgeable about kids clothing and can help. I bought my niece an American Eagle XXS puffer jacket and XXS slim fit polo shirt for her 11th birthday. They were too small. The XXS sweatshirt which was baggier to begin with did fit.
Niece is not chubby but has a "solid" body and usually wears about a size higher than her age. For example back when she was 8 she fit better in a size 9/10 than she did in a 7/8.
Does anyone have a good idea of what girls size the XXS jacket and polo translate to? I am wondering if I can pass them along to a friend that has an 8 year old girl that is somewhat slim but very tall. I have a feeling they would be too big on her though.
