Re: Happy Friday!

  • I'm finally finishing up The Unsung Hero today on audio.  I don't know why I didn't quit.  #86

I'm also finishing up The Three on my Kindle today.  I have mixed feelings about this book, though I have 15% left.  I'm looking forward to the discussion.  #87

  • I should be finishing The Three on audio book today.  I also have sort of mixed feelings and can't wait for the discussion.  I'm also curious about the sequel book and have that on request at the library to listen to next.

I'm still working my way through reading The Bronze Horseman, and I still love it.

These are numbers 49 and 50 for me for the year.  Wow, I've been posting these numbers every week, but I didn't realize until now that I was closing in on 50 books already.  That feels like a milestone!
  • I finished The Immortal Heights this week, and I loved it. Now I'm back to my reread of Heir of Fire. I'm really enjoying it alot more this time around, after reading Queen of Shadows. So many little bits are more understandable.

  • I finished Meanwhile Back in Deadwood this morning, I like this series.  Cute, quick, funny reads.  I am starting Dancing on Broken Glass tonight.  It will be number 60 for the year for me.

Jessica, Married to Brian 12/27/03, Mom to Alex 6/27/94, Devin 10/29/04, and Emily 1/15/07
  • I'm listening to The Magician's Land, it is #71 for the year, I love it and do not want it to ever end.

I'm reading Medieval Lives, it is #72 for the year and so far it's okay.

    Sure it is.  ;)

I keep putting down Crown of Midnight.  Not sure why, but it just isn't holding my interest. I'm also reading P.S. I Love You which is okay.  Honestly, watching past seasons of TVD in preparation for watching season 6 on Netflix has been taking up a ton of reading time. :) It is hard to turn off the TV when Damon & Klaus are involved.

Which Jefferson are you reading?  I read Meacham, and it was very good, but it took me 2 months to read!

It's by R.B. Bernstein.  It's short but it got good reviews.

  • October's been a tough month, haven't finished a book yet. Hoping to make a good dent in "the Longest Ride"
  • I'm 3/4 of the way through The Martian and when I finish that I will be moving on to Library of Souls thanks to my elf! (Well, unless one of my library holds comes in, and then I'll have to take a temporary rain check.)

  • I finally got to start The Three on audio yesterday. I'm not very far in, but I like it. It sort has a similar vibe to Station Eleven for me with the multiple narratives woven together.

I finished a beta read last night, and my library loan ended for Queen of Shadows before I had a chance to finish so I'm not sure what I want to read next next while I'm on the wait list to get back to it. There are a couple of things I've started but am not really in the mood for so I'll have to go through my Kindle and find something good.
