girls which I thought was very nice. Now he bowls on Wed nights and I thought it was also very nice that he was willing to miss it. A few weeks later he tells me they will be short and now he can't miss bowling but now with no babysitter I guess I don't get to go to the wedding....thoughts on what to do?

Did you cut and paste from elsewhere? I don'tknow what you are asking -- this looks like part of a paragraph and you misplaced the first part of it elsewhere.

The crux of it:

You have a wedding and he bowls.

You can either attend alone -- find a babysitter; don't you have neighborhood kids who can do it or a friend of yours who can??? --- or he can attend with you and skip bowling that night.

I have known of plenty of couples, married and not, who did not attend weddings together. The husband showed up solo or the wife did.

Maybe weddings and receptions are not his cup of joe.

I don't see a crisis here -- work something out; you've plenty of time. GL.
