Jones Institute? Or RE recommendation

Hi, I'm visiting from TB, the local board over there is super slow so I was hoping some of you may have experience with REs in the area. Has anyone used the Jones Institute for infertility treatment? I have tried searching and it seems like the only clinics mentioned are Magee and Reproductive Health Specialists (RHS). 

We have Highmark insurance so I'm not sure that we can go to Magee. The docs are covered but the disclaimer says that some services at the facility may not be covered. Our insurance covers all infertility treatment (except freezing) so it's important that we stay in-network, so I almost don't even want to deal with Magee just in case.

We are able to get an appointment at Jones very soon, which is good, but also makes me wonder why they are so available. Has anyone had any experience with them, good or bad?

Hello!  One of my closest friends went to the Jones Institute, and had a very positive experience.  She went through IVF with them and had two successful pregnancies.  However, the Dr. that she loved (Kauma) is no longer there, and I believe he actually moved to the Magee practice.  I know that's only second hand information, but I hope that helps! Honestly, you are going to find good and bad reviews of every clinic that's out there, what's important is that you feel comfortable with the care that you are receiving.

I saw Dr. Kubik at RHS, so if you end up looking into them, I would be happy to answer any questions that you have about them!

This board has become pretty slow as well, but I hope you find the information that you're looking for.  Good luck with everything!

Thank you so much for the reply! I actually did end up taking an appointment at Jones Institute in early December. They could have seen us as early as next week, but I am still holding out hope for this cycle so I scheduled it a little later with the hope of course being I will be able to cancel it.

If I do end up needing it, I guess I will just see how I like it. They said the first appointment will just be meeting with a doctor to discuss everything, so hopefully I can get an idea on if I feel comfortable with them or not at that point. Like you said, I won't really know until I go, but I'm glad to hear of at least someone who had a positive experience there, even if it was a different doctor.

If it doesn't work out, I will definitely be contacting RHS. Their location is just slightly more inconvenient or I would have contacted them first after all of the positive reviews I have heard.
