Sex drive change with lifestyle..
I've recently changed my diet. I eat mostly fruits, veggies with some carbs and protein for weight loss. I also drink water like it is going out of style and I exercise.
I have stopped eating so much sugar and an excessive amount of carbs.I feel better than I have in years and my skin glows from all the nutrition. The only issue is that my sex drive has gone way down.
My husband and I have always made love 3 or 4 times a week. We have always had a passionate sex life; he is the best lover I've ever had.
There are many things that I have only tried with my husband because he makes me feel so comfortable and sexy.
I just haven't wanted to have sex as often since I changed my lifestyle. I still have sex with my husband to make him happy. He has told me that he doesn't want me to have sex if I don't want to but I don't agree with that. He does plenty of things for me that he doesn't want to out of love and I feel the same way about sex. I'm his wife and I feel like I should fulfil my husband's sexual needs unless it is impossible for me to do so. Besides, once we get into it I always have a great time and multiple orgasms.
Last night, I told my husband that I didn't want to have sex and he said it was fine. He kissed me and said that there was no pressure.
I don't know if I will feel sexual this evening but I will probably have sex anyway. I don't want to get into the habit of refusing to be intimate with my husband.
How can I get my sex drive back?
Re: Sex drive change with lifestyle..
Go to a doc and get it checked out. I don't know if you've developed a problem coincidentally right about the time you cleaned up your diet. I've never heard of a lack of libido as a "bonus" for cleaning up one's diet and eating better.
