Friday randoms/confessions

It's one week until Christmas. Does anybody have anything to share? This place has been deader than dead over the past couple weeks.

I just impulse bought 2 tickets to see Garth Brooks in February.  DH hates country music and so I seriously doubt he'll want to come with, but I didn't even think twice about it, I just bought them because they went on sale today, they were available and they were only $75/each.  I have no idea who will go to the show with me, but I bought two tickets.

I'm going to see Garth Brooks!!

I've hit my usual Christmas/birthday funk, and it's worse than usual because I turn the big 4-0 on Monday. I don't want to deal with anybody or anything and I'm grouchy. I'm trying really hard not to let it show around DH, though, because he loves Christmas and I don't want to ruin it for him with my seasonal pissy mood. It's also a good thing that today is my last day of work until the 28th, because I need a break like whoa.

We saw his first show back last year. DH is not a country fan nor does he care for concerts much but he enjoyed it. Garth puts on a great show.

We saw Garth back in June. It was amazing!!! Enjoy!!

Our big family Christmas is tomorrow and we have cousins over afterwards. DH took off today to help finish wrapping/cleaning/etc. Pretty sure he's wishing he was at work with everything I'm having him do. ***evil laugh***

I had a mini breakdown last night due to the holiday funk too. My husband and I are both working tonight, he's working Sat night and Sunday. We're two ships passing until Christmas day, then he's back to work the next day, hence no option for 2 family Christmases. I almost got in a fight with someone else on FB because I posted an article about why spouses of people in my husbands profession have holiday funk, apparently you can't be sad or stressed this time of year.

Enjoy your vacation! I get 3 days off next week and I'm so ready.

And related to the Garth, I'm slowing getting into country. I have a friend I never see and he's trying to get me to go to country shows. As a bonus H doesn't like country so I'd have a buddy to keep me company.

I adore country music and would definitely be down for some Garth.

My random is that I am considering making an appointment to see a Naturopathic Physician in January to help balance my whacked out hormones. 

My confession is that I am going to be doing a juice cleanse in January, so I have been eating like total crap this month. Processed everything. If it comes in a box with a powdered sauce packet, I have been eating it. I know this will just make the cleanse harder but can't help myself.

I've been on vacation and won't be back at work til next week, so I won't be on regularly until then.  I miss you all though!
