I liked him as a moderate. He was only really in it at this point to get a message out and that's one less person to divide the educated vote.
I read an article yesterday that this GOP race looks similar to 2012. In 2012, Republicans who were educated and had college degrees were united with Romney and the uneducated Republicans with a HS diploma or less were divided among other candidates. Romney won because he had a united group behind him. 2016 is the same but flipped. The uneducated voters are united behind Trump and the educated voters are divided, which is why it's looking more and more like Trump will win.
