End of year cleaning
So excited, just started working on clean up/organizing/purging my basement. Final have figured out a layout that should work well for us. Some day I want to repaint the walls, but right now isn't the time. But it will still be nice to have everything set up in a way easy to find and to have some room to move around again. We bought this home almost 3 years ago before getting married and combined two households. Kept a lot of stuff because first we weren't sure what we should keep and what we wouldn't use, then second, wasn't ready to purge like we are now. We decided we would rather spend some money to get things that match then keep dealing with all the mismatched stuff. Feels good to clean things up. On a major plus, should we ever get water into our basement (the one time we did it was just maybe a centimeter high, nothing will be ruined and the things that could get we if we get a little more then that, won't matter because the can either be easily cleaned up or no sentimental value (paper towels, toilet paper, etc).
