a Powerball ticket?
I confess. I did. I'm a joiner. LOL.

Nope. I used to buy them every once in a great while when they were only $1 ticket. But when they raised them to TWO DOLLARS a ticket a few years ago. Oh, hell no.
Now, what I would do, is join in with an office group that pools their money to buy a bunch of tickets, but no one does that where I work.
I read a funny/cool story about a work group that won $21M in some lottery. It was told by the vantage point of one of the regular members of the lottery group who, just so happened didn't have cash on him the day before but told the organizer, "Yeah, include me, I'll give you the money tomorrow." So, he got to work that day and the organizer ran up to him...kind of panicked and was like, "Hey, hey...do you have the money for your tickets?" He thought it was a bit weird she was being so frantic about it, but was like, "Oh yeah, here you go." She gave him a huge smile...but didn't say anything yet to him or anyone else...and just said, "Good!"
About 15 minutes later, she called for everyone in the group to meet in a conference room and she made the big announcement that they'd won! But, that's my kind of lady! Even though the one guy technically hadn't paid, she made sure she gave him the opportunity to do that before she made the announcement so he would be included in the winnings also.
