Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult (NS)
I know there was some interest in this book a few months ago, and I'm listening to it now, so I just wanted to throw it out there that the audiobook is really well done. Like a lot of Picoult books, this one has the changing POV, and the audiobook has a cast of four people to do the different voices and I think that makes a huge difference in quality, especially when you have the changing POV throughout. I've also learned a lot about elephants so far.
I'm only about 1/3 of the way into the book, but so far it's really good. I haven't read anything of hers in a while, because I think I overdid it with her for a little while and her books all started to feel the same to me. I still have to look up the plots to figure out if I've read something by her or not. The Storyteller was the last one I tried, and I couldn't get into that audiobook. Everyone seems to love that book, so I think maybe the narration was my issue with that one. I made it through 2 or 3 CDs before I quit.
