WIJFLT: Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly (sp)
I just started a new post because I didn't want to spoiler up the Confessions post.
I didn't really like it because I didn't think that Andi going back in time accomplished anything. She got to meet Malherbeau, but really, what did that matter? She wasn't able to save Louis Charles. Alex was already dead. So she got to find out that Malherbeau was really royalty and connected that in the future, but I just feel like connecting the two was pointless. She could have read the journal and felt a connection with Alex that might have helped her heal in her real life without going backs.
It's so funny.
@Packfan20 is never shy about saying she doesn't like books that are paranormal/fantasy etc. And I think she often finds that she has the dissenting opinion about a lot of popular books, I doubt she'll disagree with me on that. So when I saw that she didn't like it and the reasons, I was like Yes! I'm going to love it! Alas, no. Her review was spot on for me.
