Thyroid issues and dental implants
Hey, friends! I have thyroid issues. I have done a thyroid removal surgery a couple of years ago. Now I am considering getting dental implants. But I am quite nervous about the side effects and complications. I have read somewhere that it can cause nerve damage and infections. Is it true? I am still undergoing medication for my thyroid issue (supplementary tablet) Will that be an issue? I am worried. I have booked an appointment with my dentist in Toronto, Dr.Phelan. Suggestions and advice regarding this topic are welcome!
