That I may have a chance to vote for Potus. I'm not voting for trump or Clinton.
  • Do you think it's possible the GOP might dump Trump regardless of the votes and run another person?

They were talking about that with Romney as a late add in. Idk - seems silly to bring him back in.

Trump is not my number one pick but that really would be a slap in the face to any candidate after all the campaigning.
  • I really wish Carson would have caught on. Sad! He has the most integrity by far compared to any candidate!!

Yes the only candidates left not partaking in the crazy are Carson and kasich.

  • Romney would be the stupidest choice ever.

The only reason why Carson and Kasich have stayed out is because they are pretty much irrelevant.  I blame Trump for the lack of civility.  People like his shit and the media will only report on the shit so as much as I hate it, to compete with that, you have to get in the mud.

Oooohhhh...it hurts me so much to say this.  I would strongly disagree with that.  As much as I think Trump is the worst ever.

He has obviously spent a tremendous amount of money and time to run for office.  And if he has enough of following to win the nomination, then he should be the nominee.  Because that's voting!!!  Majority rules, whether we like it or not.

Obviously hindsight is 20/20 but, if the GOP didn't want him running under their party, that was a decision they needed to have made at the BEGINNING!!!  Not now.  Not after he has devoted the last 1-2 years of his life to running.  It would be unfairly pulling the rug out from under him.

And turn him into a martyr.

Did I just defend Trump?  Excuse me while I go wash my hands.

It's ok I have too. They all signed the pledge at the beginning of this so they need to accept it.

  • I am just praying that if he wins and becomes our president, he acts accordingly. No more crazy or at least tone it way down!

I do think he cares and can do a lot of good but I can't stand his behavior! It's not presidential!

I agree with you. Majority wins = American way. What concerns me too is that I just read an article that US military uppers have said they will disobey Trump. Reason being, Trump has stated we should kill terrorists' families. That violates international law for warfare. Therefore the military would be correct to disobey him.

Hopefully, he was just saying that to sound tough on terror and didn't really mean it. When people run they say things then do not follow through most of the time.
  • I'm not saying it would be right, I'm just wondering if it's a possibility.

HOWEVER... parties choosing their nominees have not been a democratic process until modern times.  The democratic process comes in during the presidential election.  You have to remember, this isn't the presidential election.  There are no laws about how parties must conduct themselves or how they can choose their nominee.  Before modern times, the party insiders got together and figured out who would be their best shot at winning the election. Period- the end...  Then the democratic process took over.

It would be a terrible idea however, because any person they did choose would never be considered to be the "real" candidate.

I've heard the justification that if Trump would require them to do something that disobeys international law, it's their sworn duty to disobey him.  Such chaos.

I'm trying to think of positives at this point. I'm hoping that when he becomes the nominee because I believe he will that he will then hopefully tone it down a bit.
