Did you watch?

I thought they had Trump on the defense. It was by far his weakest debate. I thought John Kasich did very well. He was very specific in his responses too. Cruz sounds very intelligent! Rubio made me laugh with his yoga and being flexible comment.

Re: Republican Debate March 3rd

  • I liked Kasich last night - he seemed to do the best as far as specifics are concerned.  The debate wasn't nearly as bloody as last weeks thank god!  Ted Cruz was annoying me with his "count to 10" and "deep breaths" comments to Trump.  I can't stand Cruz in general though.  I would never vote for him.  I hear now they want Trump to release some other tapes now.  Honestly its annoying me all the bashing of Trump they are doing.  I don't care for the guy but ganging up on him is not making me like the other guys better.  I heard Romney wants to lock the convention.  So in my mind if this is an implosion of the GOP I will probably vote 3rd party.

Trump: he looked weak. Of course, it won't hurt him that much, but he was definitely called out. The funny thing is, that Megyn Kelly gave it to him the worst, but also seemed fair about it. That just shows that Trump wasn't mad at her, but scared of her. I can only hope that all the attacking of Trump will dissuade his few followers that can be dissuaded. Most, I think, can't be talking out of supporting him. I also hate how all of his answers are so vague like, "They will listen to me when I tell them to" or "It will work" or "I have a plan."

Rubio: Poor guy was so sick. I read he lost his voice the day before Super Tuesday, and you could tell. He just didn't have the energy for it. I think he's attacking Trump so much because he has to in order to get people to notice him, but at the same time, many of his original followers (including myself) liked him for his positive message and forward thinking, which he is undermining right now.

Cruz: I still think Cruz is a slimeball, but I watched him carefully because in the end he might get my vote, and I wanted to hear about his policies, which he did a good job of talking about despite the mud-slinging. I think California primaries may actually matter this year, and Cruz and Trump are neck in neck in recent polls. I'd rather vote Rubio or Kasich but, I'll vote Cruz if it's close because I'd rather vote #NeverTrump than split the vote further among other candidates. We don't vote until June 7 though, so a lot can change until then.

Kasich: He did great. I don't think he has a chance, but that man would make a great President.

I'm hoping there is still a path for him to win the nomination. I hope he wins Ohio then picks up steam and donations/more people backing him. They all have pros and cons. John Kasich seems like a genuine person who I'd be proud to call my president.
