Well...I had hope-the current state of both party primaries

I really really thought Cruz was going to prevent Trump from taking the majority, but he's less than 1000 delegates away now and he'll probably win Florida. If he loses Florida and Ohio, maybe I'll dare to hope, but at this point, I'm just sad.

Also, I have decided that I don't like the way that the Democrats do their primaries. Clinton has more than twice the delegates as him, but only 4 states more than him. I just don't see why the Dem's have a primary at all, since it seems so impossible for a non "establishment" person to win.

  • I knew that once the Mitt Romney speech came out - Trump support would go up.  I also agree with you about the democratic primary system.  I was actually thinking I may vote for kasich in our primary next week.

no we are in Missouri.  I watched the debates last Thursday and liked how Kasich wasn't partaking in the Trump drama and I also liked how he was answering questions with specifics - things he has done in the past.  I have no idea what a trump presidency may hold, I don't like Cruz or Rubio now.

I also agree with you about Romney-I feel like it was him just venting, because it didn't surprise anyone that support went up after he gave it. It was inappropriate. I also really like Kasich and said at the last debate that I feel that he would make a great president. I used to LOVE Rubio, but now he essentially has no path to victory. I don't think he even has a path if he somehow wins Florida, and he's taking A LOT of votes. It's time for him to give his votes to the others to bring down Trump.

There was talk this week of Rubio quitting before FL votes, but I don't see that happening.  I starting disliking Rubio when he started going off on Trump.  If he can't get his own state of FL then he needs to drop out after that.

1000 delegates is almost half the total he needs.  it's not a small amount.  And more than half the states have voted.  Normally at this point, a single candidate is getting over 50% in states, but he isn't.  This isn't a clear win by any means.  If he wins FL and OH though... it's all over.  If he doesn't, then it's Cruz.  Rubio and Kasich are just pawns to keep delegates away from Trump- they can't actually win.
