This is how Carson sleeps at night

Talk about someone who can't see the forest through the trees.  "Trump doesn't believe what he says" and that makes it all ok?  I thought we wanted a non-politician to get someone who would do what they said they would.  Now we want a non-politician to say all things we wish we could say without being punched, but who means none of it?  Seriously?!

And he seems to misunderstand what a contested convention actually is.  It's not when you take away victory from the winner.  It's when there is no clear winner, so the convention delegates have decide on a winner.  This happened every 4 years for decades when there weren't many primaries, and later, when primaries simply suggested a winner, but didn't require delegates vote for their candidate.  Talk about stealing from the winner.  It happened all the time and it didn't break the party by any means.

  • Carson has to have been promised a cabinet post, right? He can't be that naive and snowed by Trump, right?

Your guess is as good as mine.
  • This whole thing is just turning into a crap storm. I give up on them ALL.
  • Secretary of Health and Human Services is my guess. And this is what happens when you have someone who has enough money to not be "bought" as all the Trump lovers like to say...he ends up buying everyone else and then democracy still fails.

Gawker is reporting that he was, which is illegal (surprise, surprise).
  • A whole bunch of newspapers are reporting that Carson said that Trump offered him a position in administration if he would back him...which is a federal crime.

However, it seems odd because no major news sources are reporting it and those that are aren't giving direct quotes (as far as I can tell). This leads me to one of two conclusions:

-his statement is a rumor started by one news source that is just spreading around or

-Illuminati - but seriously, I don't really trust mainstream media enough to give us all the facts if they want to slant our opinions a certain way-and I definitely think mainstream media likes Trump.

  • I doubt that the promise is anything official. This type of thing isn't new but it's also not an offer made officially
