Trump Says 'no' to RNC pledge

So now Trump is pulling out of his pledge to support the eventual RNC nominee. This doesn't surprise me. I'm a bit glad, because since he went first, so to speak, now Cruz and Kasich maybe don't have to either. So, they wouldn't have to support Trump if the nom is him.

I really don't understand what the significance of this is besides making the Republican party look even worse. I feel like this is just another Trump whiny baby stunt. If he doesn't win who is he going to support? Hillary? He also was whining about how "unfair" the RNC has been to him-well honestly, he hasn't said anything nice about them from the beginning either and he is ahead in delegates, so I don't understand how he can play the victim here.

If he backs away from such a basic pledge as this to follow the rules, why would anybody think he'd honor his word on more significant things he's promised on the campaign trail.

I think it comes from his angst that he isn't ahead ENOUGH (ie has enough delegates) to be able to lock in the nomination and it is looking like it is going to be a brokered convention.  Which very well may not be in his favor because there doesn't appear to be any love lost between the GOP and Trump.  That's what he gets for being such an alienating person.  He can't even garner enough support from within the very party he is running with.

Oh, wait...wait...wait.  Perfect opportunity to borrow a phrase from the McCain/Palin campaign.  He's too much of a "maverick", lol.

Trump did and the report I read said the other two are "non commital."

He's flip-flopped on so many things I don't think that his supporters will view this as significant...

If it does get to a brokered convention, then I don't think the GOP SHOULD select him. Like a PP said, he's a very alienating person. Because he is such an outlier, he has to prove himself in the primaries, which he is failing.

I also heard they all backed out.  The pledge is stupid.  Trump has gone back and forth on this at least a dozen times.  He throws a tantrum about it every time he has a set back and screams that everyone is being "unfair".

I really wish bernie wasn't so democratic socialist because he's the one that I don't mind listening to.
