Did you hear? I'm mobile and don't know how to link but I read it today. I guess they really want a contested convention.

  • Hhhmmm. I don't know what I think about this. Honestly, I haven't been following politics anymore.

That's so amazing for me. But I am so tired of it!

me neither!  DH told me about it.  Apparently the decision was made last year but news is just coming out about it now.  Sounds like Cruz is trying to stack the deck for a contested convention.
  • The GOP did not cancel the CO election. A couple years ago, the RNC changed the rules and required delegates to bind to the primary. The CO RNC decided they didn't want to abide by the binding delegate rule. Their compromise was not to have a primary to bind to so they can continue to have unbound delegates. The CO RNC decided on this last year so it's not a Trump dig despite what Trump says/thinks. Again, everyone needs to remember that primaries are a modern concept and states always determined how their delegates would vote amoungst themselves before primaries became a popular concept
