The skirt I am wearing today is 18 years old. It is making me feel very MM (and old). Got to love the wrap skirt style....I'm about 20lbs heavier now and can still wear it! And I love that I bought it on a trip so it is a souvenir reminding me of that first time in Paris

I've probably only worn it about 3-4 times over the last 5-6 years but I guess it is worth keeping around.
Does anyone else still wear some way old clothes?
Re: old clothes
Although it has been really nice now that I'm back down to weighing less than I did pre-pregnancy, I just went up to the attic and grabbed the tub and magically had 5 new bras that fit. :-)

I have a lot of old clothes that are in the "I love this so much, if I could just lose some weight and get back into it" category. It's been over 20 years since I was in HS and college and I bet some of the stuff dates back to then. I know I have t-shirts from HS/College, plus other tees that are sentimental because they remind me of something. I'm actually planning to turn a lot of those into a quilt.
I might have you all beat! When I was in college (early 90s), my mom gave me a super cute mini skirt that she wore in the late 60s/early 70s. Totally retro, but cute retro. I love it and used to get tons of compliments on it. But now...let's just say it is in the previous category I mentioned (sigh). That skirt is now almost 50 years old, lol.
I also have a Marine Corps. jacket my dad wore in Vietnam. Same era as the skirt! However, it doesn't look like a military jacket or have any insignias on it, other than it is olive green. It's a great jacket for when it's cold and/or raining. Plus, I love that it was my dad's.
Oh yeah, I'm ready! Actually can't wait to go shopping but it feels a little too early still.
