The end of an era
VCR production is stopping. Makes me feel a little sad and old. If I were still single I'd probably still be using mine.

My worst "wow, I'm old" moment happened when I noticed the signs in liquor stores that say "You have to have been born past XXXX date to purchase alcohol"...had dates that were PAST when I graduated from high school.
Like, people who are now old enough to drink weren't even born yet when I graduated from HS.
My H is 10 years older than me, so I occasionally get a jab in here and there. But we went to apply for our passports a couple months ago and, as I gave him my documentation to hold he said (in total innocence), "Wow, your birth certificate is really old and tattered." And, as soon as he said it, I could see by the look on his face that he realized how bad that sounded.
I wasn't actually upset and he knew that, but I gave him a mock angry look and said, "Really?!?! Really? Did you really just say that my birth certificate is old and tattered?, lol"
