    It is quiet.

I'm just working.  Been on a role at the office lately.  I'm partially commissions, and my commissions for this month are coming out pretty well.  I'm excited.

Oh and I leave at 2:30 today. Woot!  It's for a blood draw, booo.  However, it's for a blood draw to see if my pregnancy levels have doubled in 48 hours, because we're pregnant.  Woohoo!  FX they have.  I have a history of miscarriage and chemical pregnancies, so we try not to get our hopes up too early but things are looking good so far.

Wishing you a congrats and good numbers. :)

  • People might be having login problems.  I know I have for the last few days!

I think I finally figured out the trick.  Don't click on the login word all the way at the top of the page.  I will literally put in the exact correct password and it says it is invalid.  Not just today, that particular link seems to always do that.  I've also clicked "request password", but it never sends the link.

Instead, it is much better to click on a "Reply" to a post.  It sends me to a slightly different login page and THAT one works correctly.  My password is "recognized" and, clicking "forgot password" will send a link.

It took me FOREVER, to figure out that complete and utter dysfunction.  Seriously, The Nest, it's not that hard.  This is the only website I have ever been to where the main login page doesn't work.

  • I was having log in problems but managed to get in today.

It's month end, which = craziness in the title/escrow business.  It's also the countdown to my last day, which is next Wednesday, so thank god it's busy otherwise I'd be going nuts.  We have 15 closings going on here today, and 20 tomorrow.  Our poor new build closer, 12 of the 20 here tomorrow are hers!
  • I tried to tell them it doesn't work correctly.  Also told them we don't have a NestGod anymore.  Nobody seems to care. :(

I usually have to login to the alternate login page twice.  The new discussion button also works for getting there.

  • I've had the same login issues before! And you can't navigate here from the new main Nest page (I have you all bookmarked). I also can't change my profile or add a photo :(

I'm happy it's not just me!  I couldn't find the link for the discussion boards and I thought I was going crazy!

at work, catching up from a long weekend off! Ugh! Is it Friday yet? I need another weekend stat!

This site is screwy for me too!

  • @brij2006 Congrats! Sending you prayers and vibes for good numbers!

I have login issues sometimes too. Usually I hit "reply" and then hit login a couple of times on the page it brings me to and it works out ok. I haven't had to change my password since that first time.

Work is nuts today. It's quarter end and also our year-end so we're trying to close as many contracts as we can. I have another contract I'm in the middle of negotiations on and it's been blowing up this week too. Ugh.
  • Just working here.  We're always busy but have started to hit our extra busy season!

  • On fun thing today:  Since its national coffee day, Folgers came to our hospital to highlight our coffee cart volunteer and give us a check for $10,000 plus a year's worth of free coffee for our coffee cart!

I can't remember the last time I tried to navigate in.  I'm here so much that I just type "forums..." into the address bar and the rest auto-completes.

  • I emailed the help@thenest email on Monday after getting the message to change my password for the 100th time (slight exaggeration, but I've lost count of how many times I've changed my password).  I still haven't heard back from them why I keep getting the message.  It is so stupid the lack of support they have for forum/tech issues.

I heard the first results Wednesday.  They came back at 145, which is good for where I'm at in the pregnancy.  I'll hear back today with the 2nd set of numbers.  They want them to double in a 48 hour period.  So hopefully they have.

I know!  What are the odds?
Although I did talk with the RE's office and they recommended for us to keep our appointment with them since I have a history of losses.  So we have the first ultrasound on the 20th and the appointment with the RE on the 25th. If everything is good at the ultrasound then we'll cancel.  If not, then they recommend we still come in so we can get a gameplan put together so hopefully we won't lose another one.
So at this point we're proceeding with caution.

I hope you don't loose another one either.  I'm sure its stressful and scary.  I'm going to start DH on a maca root herb supplement this month in hopes of increasing sperm volume and motility.  My cycles are normal, I'm healthy and active so I'm starting to wonder if the stress of finishing his studio is affecting the little guys.  the closer it gets to the 6th month time frame the more I get worried.  Basically at 6 months I need to ask OB for additional testing because I'm 36 and considered AMA.  Does your insurance cover RE testing?  I will have to call mine in November if AF comes as see what they cover.  Hoping my OB can do initial testing.  Not sure though.
  • @vlagrl235 Mine does cover the RE, but my plan before DD did not.  So it's worth the phone call.
I will say this, if yours does, don't waste your time with your OB.  Biggest regret we have.  They aren't specialized in this and we later had found out our OB did a cycle treatment improperly and we were very lucky that my body didn't over respond to the treatment.  So yeah, if you can go to an RE, I would highly recommend it.

Another option in the meantime is to do temping and charting for you.  It gives you a better picture on what your cycle is doing and how you can plan your timing.

But I'm with you about the stressors of H.  I finally started having regular-ish cycles in April and our timing was perfect on all of those, yet still nothing.  It was stressing me out and made me fear that something was wrong with H.  His busy season is Spring-Fall and we were working with a marriage counselor on some things that happened in our life.  So I knew he was beyond stressed.  It seems to be within the last couple of months that things have gotten better and he's been less stressed.  Alas, here we are.
No idea if it had to do with anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

  • @brij2006  Thanks! I do the ones on Weddingbee but sometimes they get crazy busy and I lose track of the threads. We did one IUI but with our MFI diagnosis my RE and his Urologist were like "ok let's stop messing around it's IVF with ICSI time". The trigger shot for the IUI resulting in lots of crying and yelling at my husband. Hopefully these ones go better. I might make him just do them for me this time.
  • I want to sprinkle baby dust everywhere! @brij2006 I hope your numbers are good today. @vlagrl35 my insurance covered all my testing and even covers treatment. I know that I'm super lucky in that regard but hopefully you will be too.

Also since you both mentioned REs and mine just called and I'm about to explode - I AM FINALLY STARTING IVF ON SUNDAY! We had an insurance hiccup, and then I needed an additional test (like I haven't had enough people up there checking everything out already), and we thought everything was going to get screwed up even though I've been on the pill to prep for 3 weeks now. I'm so happy and nervous of all the needles that I want to cry and puke all at the same time. 2 years of trying and we're finally moving forward!

I know!  Me too...on sprinkling the baby dust.  Y'all can have my share of it.

I'm hoping to see lots of baby announcements on this board from everyone TTCing.

  • @brij2006  Thanks for your thoughts on the RE.  I will want to go straight to that if insurance covered it and get scheduled in December.  If AF comes early November because I've meet my deductible and everything else done on me is covered 90% thru December.  I always thought I had a year before doing this stuff and now I just feel old knowing I only have 6 months.

I went ahead and ordered DH a good multivitamin and he can start taking the Maca I'm already taking.  I will start temping in October.  I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating so that's why I'm starting to think it may be DH's stress and nothing to do with me.  Only took 1 cycle with DD and now I'm fearing Secondary Infertility.  We waited so long (5 yrs) to TTC again and go figure this happens.  I thought it would be barely any work again and I mainly feared the same pregnancy as I had with DD.  Maybe my body is like "hell no" we are not doing that again lol.  I've been visualizing and thinking positively.
