My in-laws took us to see Fireproof at the dollar theater this weekend and I swear it saved our marriage. If you haven't yet, you have to see it!

It is a really good movie.  Me and DH saw it opening weekend.  Our Sunday school class has been doing a series on it since the end of November.

My mom got us the book that goes with the movie I think its called the love dare.  I haven't read it though.... She said it was really good.

it's about this guy whose marriage is on the outs and his dad tells him about this thing called the love dare. He then agrees to try it out to win his wife back (doing something nice/thoughtful every day).

H and I saw it when it first came out and we both loved it

We saw it, it was a GREAT movie, far better than I expected it to be. It was filmed in Georgia. Kirk Cameron did a very good job. We bought the book and it's just kind of stayed on the bookshelf, we tried reading some of it but to me it was kind of unrealistic and boring. I think seeing the movie is very helpful for most every couple.

I love that movie! You know Kirk Cameron had his wife come in on the kissing scene toward the end b/c he didn't want to kiss another woman. I thought that was sweet.

Yes!  It's an AWESOME movie!  I've heard that there is actually a Love Dare book that you can buy now.

I heard that Kirk didn't actually do the kissing scene...they used graphics (or whatever) to make it appear that he did, but he didn't b/c he refuses to even kiss another woman other than his wife!  Cool, huh?
