I know this wont change but...
the reason Kstew is bella is because CH thought she was perfect for the role...uhm and where is CH?
doing something else and where are we?
Stuck with KStew and her pot smoking, non-emotional, "I'm miss indy flicks you retards" ass...
?
That is all?

APPLAUSE!
Ditto.?
Ditto as well. There were some parts that were a little irritating but I don't necessarily think it was with her acting - I'm still bitter about the lack of relationship transgretion.

I don't mind her as Bella. Throughout the books, Bella struck me as sort of a one note girl anyway.
Besides, look at Keanu Reeves. He's a one note actor too and they're GIVING him roles in which he has to keep the damn monotone. He's made his career on it. She can be the female Keanu.
Maybe I should clarify.
It was hard to see the movie and then go back to re read the books and envision a different Bella. One that was clumsy, flirty, affectionate, found it wasy to say she loved E.
KS was good at the awkward tension moments with Charlie & Edward but then she never got out of it. She was always so tense and this was before James came in the picture. She never let Edard in. During prom she was annoying and dont get me started on the hospital scene.
IMO I think KS's Bella version is better suited for NM movie. When she is suppose to be miserable. How much more angry and distraught can she get?
You are cracking me up today!

Exactly. The hospital scene is probably her worst of the whole movie.
I do an impression of the hospital scene as frequently as possible. It consists of me saying "wha?....don't....huh....no....no.....what?....don't ever.....huh....?" etc etc

Fwiw, a good majority of the artsy kids in HS smoked pot. If you figure the Hollywood types are the most extreme variety of artsies, you're going to wind up with a high number of, well, people who like to be high.
Ditto a million times. I actually liked her as Bella. Do I think it could have been better? Sure. She certainly could have had more emotional range, but as a whole I liked it.
I am a fan of whatshisface as a director so I have high hopes.
I live in Wilmington so we're filled to the brim with actors. Every one of them I know smokes pot.
OMG I 100% agree with this post. Bella in my head was more likeable and cute. In the movie she seemed like she was holding in a crap. She was bitchy and hard. And the hospital scene was soooo fake to me!
DITTO!!!
My thoughts for this post...
1. I didn't mind KS as Bella at all
2. I liked the hospital scene
3. Everyone I knew at that age smoked pot
i mentioned it because she did it not because I care if she did it (that make sense?)
I think she totally nailed the look but I just didnt feel whatever heat CH felt between RP and her ...and I still think her acting rots...
but Keanu...dude is deep...
Whoa!
