something in BD bothering me (spoiler)
why couldn't Alice see that Bella was going to get pregnant? i'm not done the book yet, so maybe they'll address it, but that's really bothering me and i just had to ask.
i know they said she can't see bella because of the fetus, but you'd think she'd see the "before".
Re: something in BD bothering me (spoiler)
That is a good point because it still does happen to Bella and everyone knows they were going to get it on...the?decision?was already made so the outcome should have been able to be predicted.?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
yes, but bella getting pregnant wasn't necessarily a definite thing. the sperm and egg may or may not have met up and attached and all that good stuff. She probably didn't see it until that happened.
Good point, I agree :-)
Follow my SK blog as I reread the entire SK library (again!):

maybe because it happened to quick..or she was not atuned to her..in past books she said that if she is not atuned to some one she cant see it
maybe she didnt want to atune her self to B & E when they were getting it on??? lol
interesting. i've read that she couldn't see the fetus, and therefore doesn't know about bella's future anymore.
i guess i see your point, it just still doesnt make sense to me. but i guess making sense of vampires with powers and humans pregnant with demon babies is sort of a fruitless effort to begin with...:)
hmmmm for some reason I always thought she saw Edward trying to abort the baby, and that's why she called
That makes sense, too.?
I didn't read teh responses before I wrote this, so sorry if it is a repeat.
Alice couldn't see the baby because of what it was first off, and second, she can see the path people are on once they make a decision, I am not sure that Edward and Bella made the decision to have a baby, just to have sex. She finally did see it when Bella realized she was pregnant, therefore she had that in her mind at that time. Make sense?
That makes the most sense.?
makes sense. i never really thought of it that way.
