I might be alone tonight :-(
K's flight has to come through Chicago so I'm crossing my fingers it's not cancelled. I just checked our airport update and so far most flights from Chicago today have been cancelled. But, her flight is late tonight and the snow is supposed to let up.
So now the question is - do I bother making a fancy dinner? I was looking up receipes like stuffed artichokes, french onion soup, etc. Maybe I should just order take-out and grab a bottle of wine.

If K's not getting home until late, I'd definitely do takeout. I hate cooking for just me!

oh that sucks! hopefully she makes it in, but if it was me i'd do take-out.
then again, i'm a lousy cook so i'd likely do take-out either way...
Yeah, take-out sounds like the way to go. If you want to do something fancy, you could do a dessert that would keep for a day in case she doesn't make it home. Fingers crossed that you have her home with you tonight, though!!
