Where in AZ are you thinking of moving? Please, please, please say somewhere near me. The girls and I desperately need playmates!

Re: **Nicole**

  • where exactly are you guys? I'm totally drawing a blank. Right now, we're looking at places between Flagstaff and Phoenix/Queen Creek(I have friends who just moved there). It will probably be the latter. We're going to take a road trip in January or February to check things out. We are open though.

We are so tired of working our butts off just to keep our heads above water and paying someone else's overpriced mortgage. We've found homes twice the size for half the monthly cost. It's still in the discussion phase, but we've made the decision to do our research and check things out.

  • LMBO. I suppose I could have just looked to the left of your post to see where you are. ooooops!

Have you been to Queen Creek? Or do you know anything about it?

  • We're in Casa Grande which is between Phoenix and Tucson. Queen Creek isn't too far from us, it's just a lot of backroads though. We actually looked in Queen Creek but decided to move to CG because we found better deals on homes and my sis already lived here.

Good luck with your research! It just didn't make sense for us to stay in CA for the reasons you listed. Living is CA was stressing me out so bad that I was having frequent panic attacks. I haven't had an attack since we moved here in June. It was hard to make the move, but we are all so happy that we did!

  • Another deciding factor for our move to CG over QC was that Pinal county has different smog laws for cars (no smog tests for any car). It was a huge factor for my dh with all his projects.
