OKay, I know this is random, but I live in NJ and MH asked this last night and I have no answer...

 On NYE we clearly watch the ball drop in Times Square. What do you west coasters in a different time zone do? Do you have your own ball? Do you watch ours live or at midnight your time?

They replay it.

We get the shaft. 

They do have celebrations here, but nothing like the ball.

if i'm not mistaken they air the times square ball drop at midnight their time.

when i lived in Arizona that's what they did and had a little thing that shows that it was recorded earlier
