Tribe women...

what do you all do for work???  I'm just curious because it seems like you just do non-work related stuff (like Tribe) all day.  I'm not trying to flame, but are you mostly self-employed, SAHMs, or do your employers just not care?  I know I would never get away with it in my line of work so I'm curious what type of work allows this.

Re: Tribe women...

  • I am a stripper. I work mostly at night, but sometimes hit the pole for the business lunch crowd. I am able to access the Tribe from my Blackberry between my Christina Aguilera "Diiirty" number and my Britney Spears "Toxic" performance.

For someone who is "new" to the Nest you seem to think you know alot about all the non-work related things Tribe members do during the work day. Pray tell how did you aquire this knowledge? Are you psychic--- because I have lots of other questions if you are?

  • I'm independently wealthy.  I Tribe all day while my staff handles mundane tasks like cleaning my house, manicuring my gardens, and brushing my hair. This allows me unlimited daytime hours to Tribe.

    Any other questions?

  • Beaglemommy wont say it because she is shy, but she is also one of my most loyal customers and a very generous tipper.
  • Awww, Kelly, you're being modest. I consider myself a patron of the arts, and your natural talent working that pole deserves the attention!  I can only think of 2 other strippers that I'd drive to another country to view!
  • Work, HA! I live off the state collecting any kind of assistance I can including Daycare assistance (Yeah, I still send my kid to daycare while I sit home and tribe) and get money from my babies daddy.

    It's awesome.  Don't hate.

  • While my DH is busy stuffing dollars down KAGs thong (he really loves your Diiirty performance by the way) I am in an office for anywhere between 8 - 12 hrs/day and I log onto the tribe a few times during the day, it's just like co-workers who call to check in with their kids, husband, babysitters, etc... a few times during the day. DH gets horrible reception in the champagne room so we don't get to talk much.

Really though......I work a lot and I rarely work days that are shorter than 10 hours. I'm a manager and a productive employee. Sometimes the tribe is my sanity - especially on days that are high stress and I need an outlet for a few minutes. Yes, there are days that I'm on here more and I'll feel guilty about it......so I don't complain so much when I work longer days and login on weekends.

  • C'mon - who are you on the Tribe?  It's sad that you couldn't just ask the question there.  It's been answered a thousand time over and none of us really have a problem answering it...

I wonder if this is my BOSS trying to trick me into saying I'm on the Tribe all day long!

  • You should definitely have had the cojones to just ask this on the Tribe. ?I'm a SAHM, many days, I don't get on much at all. ?Other times, when I'm being a negligent parent, I hop on way too much. ?
  • I WISH I could get on during the day, but I'm employed by your tax dollars and that just wouldn't be nice of me. Plus, they see what we go on and I'm terrified of getting the boot. So, I get on in the evening and try to catch up.
  • I aspire to be as negligent a parent as teach1 starting in February......

  • Ladybug and Lindsay - thanks for your answers, that's what I was wondering about.  I too, get paid with your tax dollars so I don't hang out on the internet at work.  I wasn't looking for snarky answers, I was just asking a question.  I'm happy that Kelly is no longer wasting Cheshire Academy's students' money and now is working hard for her own on the pole.  Most people try to stay honest and off the pole and the pipe, but I guess she wasn't able to.

Wow - you're one creepy biatch!

Another question for you.  If you weren't looking for snarky answers, then why didn't you just ask this question on the Tribe.

  • Do you actually think that being a SAHM means you have all kinds of time on your hands?  You must have one incredibly independent child if you think that because it's one of the hardest jobs out there IMO.  And just for the record, I work full time & am raising 2 babies.  I don't have much time to go to any boards at all anymore, but I go on the Tribe whenever I can because I have met many wonderful people both online & in person that I enjoy chatting with.
  • Just checking in to see how the stripping is going.
