Affordable houses in suburbs?

I work in Hillside and MH works in Mt Prospect.  We are looking at buying and I would really like to be somewhat close to my job in Hillside. What are some good recommendations??>

Re: Affordable houses in suburbs?

  • Try Lombard, Downers Grove.  To help your husband, I'd suggest staying east of I-355.
  • I'd recommend looking into Elmhurst, Elk Grove Village, Addison, Schaumburg, or Wood Dale. Anywhere that you can jump onto 290/90/294. I also think 355 can be a great way to commute north to Mt. Prospect. I think Downers Grove might be too south for your DH. Good luck!
  • We live in Bloomingdale and there is alot for sale near us...we just moved there in May and LOVE it.
